It was a joyful and heart-warming evening, celebrating the wonders
of wool. We all left the venue with a smile on our faces, full of inspiration and renewed appreciation of the natural fibre and craft.
The Wool Shop, Lymington
The first Crafting Cinema event took place on the 31st July 2026 at the ​​​​​​​The Bridge, Milford on Sea, Hampshire.

Organised by Issy at the Wool Shop in Lymington, posters of Cow the sheep were prominently featured around the town to drum up interest for the screening. Instagram reels were also posted - you can watch these below, which worked fantastically well to bring in an audience - during a very hot evening - who came together to watch the film, knit, stitch, chat and discuss the film.
It started with ​​the first photo filmmaker Paul Wyatt ever took: a blurred sheep's nose on a school trip when he was just nine. This lifelong love of animals and a deep-seated curiosity to understand their lives drove Wyatt to make Sheep, Actually.
Sheep, Actually is the culmination of over a decade of high-profile film collaborations that Paul Wyatt has filmed and produced.
