Paul Wyatt’s films have a proven track record
of filling seats and selling out venues: His combination of storytelling with deeply relatable themes consistently sparks post-screening  discussion and guarantees a memorable experience for audiences. From major cultural institutions to local community centres, viewers are captivated by his evocative depictions of place and character-driven narratives. The Cutty Sark Takeover For the Sheep, Actually premiere, Wyatt breathed new life into the Cutty Sark’s lesser-known legacy as a historic wool transporter by
co-producing  The Cutty Sark Wool Experience. This unique event united attendees through a shared love of history, craft, and cinema. Guests
explored the ship, engaged with talks on its maritime wool trade, and browsed a makers’ village featuring live weaving demonstrations. The evening culminated in the premiere of Sheep, Actually, screened directly beneath the ship’s iconic suspended hull.
Held at Royal Museums Greenwich in October 2025, this sold-out and first-ever film premiere at the Cutty Sark received an enthusiastic reception from a capacity crowd, followed by an insightful Q&A with the film’s
contributors. Extending the event’s reach, Wyatt—a regular contributor to leading creative journals—documented the occasion for Selvedge Magazine.
